Modern Calligraphy and Pumpkin Lettering
Join us at Coles Road Brewing in Berlin, CT for a festive workshop of spooky fun and pretty lettering for beginners! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your spooky spreads – think lettered pumpkins at your front door, on your bar cart, as a Halloween party hostess gift or special occasion gift!
Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop! Additionally, we will be lettering on faux pumpkins at the end of our class time!

Join us at Coles Road Brewing for a fun, family-friendly floral arranging class led by Jesse Callaghan, owner of Evocative As Floral!
Jesse will guide you through the process of cutting, arranging, and caring for seasonal flowers. Each attendee will create a beautifully unique arrangement to take home—no previous floral experience required.
This class is perfect for a creative night out with friends, a memorable gift for someone special, or anyone interested in learning how to create their own floral arrangements.

An Afternoon to Remember: Silent Art Auction in Honor of Tyler W. Scholefield
We’re gathering together to celebrate the life, love, and legacy of Tyler W. Scholefield (1984–2022) — a devoted father, loyal friend, gifted artist, and the kind of person who could make you laugh and make you think in the same breath.
Tyler was many things: a Montserrat College of Art graduate whose work and spirit left a lasting impression on his professors and classmates alike. A prolific artist who never stopped creating, even while working full-time to provide for his family. A guitar player. A little league coach. A gentle soul with a razor-sharp sense of humor and a heart that was always, always in the right place.
Above all, Tyler was a father — and everything he did, he did for his two kids.
Join us for a silent art auction featuring works that reflect the creativity and community Tyler loved so much. All proceeds will go directly toward the education of his children, carrying his legacy forward in the most meaningful way possible.
